Our history
The tradition of the Daskalaki family in viticulture and wine production dates back to 1920. 1998 was the year that the Daskalaki family made the first moves to implement a small winery in the village of Siva in the prefecture of Heraklion, Crete.
Cultivation & Varieties
The cultivation of the vineyards is done with the exclusive method of organic cultivation and for the last 12 years according to the principles of biodynamics, whose philosophy concerns the respect for nature and man.
Winemaking
The Silva Daskalaki winery, always respecting the traditional way of winemaking and the legacy of the older generations, manages up to 250,000 kilos of grapes every year.

With respect, patience and perseverance, we achieve our goals with distinctions and awards, proving that Greek wine can stand worthy internationally. In 2008, he was awarded the "Big Gold" medal for the wine "Instinct" red (Syrah-Kotsifali) produced in 2006, which is the highest distinction in an international Wine Competition. In addition, we have participated in international competitions (Berlin, Decanter England, Brussels, Thessaloniki, IWSC), winning 60 international medals and we continue to create always guided by high quality and leadership.
